At this 10 year milestone, pride is my overriding feeling – in what we have created, in the people who make up our business, and of the careers we have positively influenced.
It is safe to say that the economic backdrop over the last ten years has thrown the odd curveball, so to have built a nationwide brand and to have worked with so many diverse and amazing people and businesses really does stand out for me.
The same can be said for receiving back-to-back ‘Sunday Times Best Places To Work’ awards in 2024 and 2025. We don’t underestimate how significant this is for our business, perhaps even more so to have been achieved during the change that our industry is currently witnessing.
I see this as such a positive. Every day, we challenge ourselves to make Broster Buchanan a supportive, rewarding and innovative place to work. We push ourselves to stay relevant and to remain on the front foot with our offering of experience, relationships and technology. We still have a long way to go, but the awards and the milestone anniversaries give us confidence that we are on the right path.
2024/2025 has been a challenging year for personal reasons and to have felt the support and understanding of the whole Broster Buchanan family throughout that time, for me, shows that our values and ethos are more than just words on a page.
