I’ve worked in finance my whole career, I’m a Chartered Manager training to be a Chartered Accountant. The move to BB was instigated by the need for a new challenge and the idea of implementing new systems, automation and streamlining processes really excites me. Sad but true!
I really want to have a successful career in finance and qualify as a Chartered Accountant. My degree is in business and management, I’ve always strived to work for a successful business where I have the opportunity to learn. That is definitely the case at BB! I have a great line manager and BB is a delight to work for with a great culture enabling me to enjoy what I do. I’m currently looking to buy my first house so the opportunity to work for a business where there is room to grow, and progress is a big driver for me.
Launching the new finance system at BB has been a big highlight for me, so much work has gone into this roll out, but the end result means we have so much more data at our fingertips. We have streamlined everything which makes for a super-efficient process not only for us but for our colleagues too. That’s a satisfying feeling!
I love animals! I have two dogs, a black lab called Dino and Milo a German pointer, they are best friends which is lovely to watch. I enjoy eating out and socialising, big walks exploring new places, and basically anything that entails being in the countryside.
