I am new to the recruitment world…
I worked in the automotive industry from the age of 19, starting as a receptionist and then moving into sales. I loved the people element, getting to talk to customers all day every day, I was in my element. The post-covid automotive industry was very different so I decided I wanted a change, which after 13 years was a big decision. I can honestly say since joining Broster Buchanan I haven’t looked back. It feels incredibly empowering to work for a business that is so supportive and recognises success. The reaction from my first placement was incredible I couldn’t believe how many of the team congratulated me!
I am keen to get into a 360 role, but I know it takes time to build up a client and candidate base who trust me and are as invested in me as I am in them. Therefore, the next year is all about building relationships, as people are the key to success. When I joined Broster Buchanan there was no option but to succeed, I am going to work really hard to progress as I want to be working within this business in 5 years’ time, it’s a great business.
My absolute passion is Formula 1! I have been to many races over the years; Silverstone is my favourite track, and it’s the best day out. I can’t think of anything better than attending the British Grand Prix and Lewis Hamilton winning, it really is the best feeling in the world!
