      Overview:

      We’re currently working in partnership with a large organisation based in central Durham to recruit an experienced Credit Control Administrator for a period of 12 months. 

      The successful individual will join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial services. 

      Key responsibilities:

      • Support the implementation of a compliant direct debit collection system.
      • Process adjustments to charges as required.
      • Address inquiries from stakeholders and monitor query types.
      • Provide administrative support to the Head of Department and Credit Control Assistant Manager.
      • Maintain a professional and welcoming front-of-house service.
      • Assist in processing financial information and contribute to system development.

      Essential Criteria:

      • Previous experience in a large organisation.
      • Background in a high-volume accounts receivable department.
      • Proficiency in using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Strong digital competence, including Microsoft 365 applications and digital communication tools.

      Package:

      • 12 month fixed term contract 
      • Salary: £23,751 to £24,533
      • Holidays: 27 Days annual leave per year in addition to 8 public holidays and 4 customary days per year – a total of 39 days per year. 
      • Location: Durham, hybrid working
