Financial Controller

Broster Buchanan have been retained by a market leading manufacturing company to recruit a Corporate Financial Controller role, which can be based at their head office in Gloucester or remotely, anywhere in the UK or France.

My client is looking for an experienced finance professional with experience in the manufacturing sector, who has strong ERP/ systems skills and capable of developing and implementing financial policies and providing support for the regional Financial Controllers with their corporate & strategic financial decisions.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing cost accounting
• Harmonising standard processes and templates
• Performing business analyses and financial risk assessments
• Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
• Assist in budgeting process

The successful candidate will ideally be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with experience of ERP systems in an industrial environment as Financial Controller, Cost Controller or similar.
We are looking for someone with strong reporting and cost accounting experience, together with excellent analytical and decision support skills. It is important that you can identify and provide cost-effective / time-effective solutions and work effectively within a team.
