Treasury Assistant

Broster Buchanan are hiring a Treasury Assistant for a leading international manufacturing business based in East Hertfordshire on the border with Essex (but supporting flexible working).

This is a permanent position paying circa £28,000-£35,000 plus bonus and benefits package, with the offer of study support for someone wanting to complete an accounting or treasury qualification.

The Treasury Assistant will work as part of a high-calibre in-house treasury function looking after some of the group’s international entities

The role is a broad treasury position with a focus on bank reconciliations, processing payments, and supporting on a range of treasury projects.

The plan is to develop this person and train this person in new areas with a view to moving them up to a more senior role in the team. 

As such this represents a great opportunity for someone with some experience in bank reconciliations/processing payments who wants to build a career in treasury by taking on their first dedicated treasury role – Or it could be a great fit or someone in a role like that now who wants a role with more opportunity to develop or progress.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing of day to day bank reconciliations
• Upload of bank reconciliations and FX accounts to Blackline
• Prepare and process payments
• Update of daily reports and market data checks
• Assist the month and year end treasury activities
• Assist the treasury department in the consolidation, variance analysis and reporting of weekly cashflow forecast
• Assist the treasury department in the fx risk management of the entities under the scope of the SSC
• Assist with miscellaneous / treasury back office and other tasks as required
