During 2020 / 2021 we have grown our fee income and delivered improved EBITDA in some of the most challenging market conditions the industry has seen; this has included some record months recently. We have already welcomed 5 new starters to the team in 2021, with more to join.
Pete brings a wealth of experience in our core Finance, Marketing, HR and STEM sectors, with the latter now accounting for >30% of our business in both the corporate and SME market space. The business wants to target a growth curve of 100%+ over the next 3 years and will continue to invest in our people and new hires to achieve this.
Pete will be instrumental in this plan, looking to identify, hire and develop talent in all our existing locations & sectors, whilst also focusing on new opportunities and partnerships. In direct response to the market and client feedback, our STEM practices in Technology, Data, Cyber, SAAS, Intelligent Transformation & Change will be an important part of this growth in tandem with our existing core areas of Finance, Marketing and HR.
Alongside our organic growth plans we will continue to develop our consultancy arm Orbbis which has delivered significant opportunities for the group and our client base since its launch 18 months ago, working on a number of transformation and change projects. The existing partnership will be further invested in with industry leading experts to support this growth.
We are also looking to grow the group through a M&A strategy during this period and have built a team of experts to support this, including two ex-MDs from UK-listed recruiters, an M&A Director from a FTSE 100 retailer and experienced corporate legal and finance advisors.
We believe that our service levels, relationships and depth of experience will continue to help us navigate the market ahead and look forward to supporting all our clients and candidates to achieve their aspirations.
