The Role:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Finance Director to join their manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire. This is a pivotal role, requiring a strategic thinker with a strong operational focus.
As Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Financial Strategy: Developing and implementing the financial strategy to support the company’s growth and profitability objectives.
- Financial Performance: Overseeing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Operational Finance: Working closely with operational teams to drive efficiency and cost reduction.
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks.
- Team Leadership: Leading and developing a high-performing finance team.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Strong Leadership Skills: A proven track record of leading and motivating teams.
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
