Tax Analyst

Broster Buchanan are hiring for a Tax Analyst for a leading renewable energy company.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract with potential to go permanent or be extended.

Its based in their Central London office but supports 2 or 3 days per week remote working.

It comes with a salary of circa £50k-£60k plus bonus/benefits package.

The Tax Analyst will work closely with the Head of Tax and Tax Managers as part of a high-calibre in-house tax team, together looking after the global tax affairs of the company.

This position covers both direct taxes and indirect taxes and is biased towards compliance and reporting, but also will get involved in project work and ad-hoc provision of tax advice to the business.

The team work with the support of external tax advisors who do a lot of the hands-on tax return preparation – And as such this position is more involved in project management of the advisors and interacting with internal teams to collect the required information, rather than being a repetitive role just churning through lots of tax returns.

The Head of Tax is flexible on the experience required for the role, and so is happy to consider candidates with either direct tax or indirect tax experience, as well as candidates without UK tax experience
