UK Finance Director

Our client are an innovative and award winning marketing agency who are experiencing a period of growth.

Following an internal move the position of Financial Controller has become available. This opportunity can be considered either as a purely interim role whilst the business run a permanent process or as an interim to permanent opportunity for the right person.

Duties will include:

• Management of a team of 8 consisting of qualified, part-qualified and transactional level staff
• Overseeing the production of both financial and management accounts including owning both month and year end. For the interim role, taking the business through the year end audit will be a priority
• Business partnering with non-finance staff with a focus on revenue management, this will include weekly WIP meetings and revenue forecasting
• Assisting the CFO with process improvement, ongoing systems development and team structure

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) who has experience working in an agency environment where revenue management is a priority. Strong financial reporting and year end experience is essential as is prior experience managing a team.
