VAT Accountant

Broster Buchanan are hiring for a VAT Accountant for a leading international manufacturing company based just north of London on the Hertfordshire Essex border (but supporting hybrid working).

This is a permanent role paying circa £50k-£60k plus bonus and benefits package.

Working as part of a high-class in-house tax function, the VAT Accountant will be tasked with a role looking after the group’s European VAT and Indirect Tax affairs including:

– Preparation of UK and European VAT returns
– EC Sales and Intrastat reports
– VAT balance sheet reconciliations
– Respond to VAT queries from the business
– Support on tax and finance projects
