Helen Spring is Finance Director at Broster Buchanan, bringing a broad finance leadership background developed across multiple sectors and organisations. Based in the North West, she leads the firm’s internal finance function, overseeing financial operations, reporting, and process development as the business continues to grow nationally.
Helen began her career in the North East, where she first entered the profession with support from Broster Buchanan co-founder Pat Smith – a connection that makes her journey with the firm particularly fitting. Over the years she has developed a reputation for improving financial processes, strengthening systems, and helping teams operate with greater clarity and confidence.
Known for her collaborative and people-focused leadership style, Helen combines strong technical finance expertise with a genuine commitment to developing colleagues and supporting the wider business.
Helen was appointed Head of Finance at Broster Buchanan in 2022 and now leads the company’s financial operations, supporting the leadership team as the business continues to expand nationally.
Helen’s long-term ambition is to climb Mount Kilimanjaro — a challenge that reflects her determination and love of pushing herself outside her comfort zone.
