Lucy Rider helped Opera North replace an exceptional Finance Director, and she couldn't have been more responsive. She instinctively understood the nature of third-sector work (and budgets) and her extraordinary network, particularly of people in and around Leeds or wishing to relocate here, led us to some really interesting candidates. One has the sense that she's invested in individuals for the long term, not just that she's trying to make the sale - all suggestions are thoughtful and personal. I would definitely use her again.

We recently worked with Lucy Rider on the appointment of a Head of Finance. Lucy was exceptional. What stood out for me is that she really listened to what we needed, understood the charity and the work involved and took the time to find the right candidate. We received a very significant number of applications and Lucy balanced a pragmatic approach to making sure she found the right candidate and treating each candidate with real care and attention, but also was sensible in her use of time and gave us a well considered, concise short list. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Lucy again (and I've worked with lots of recruitment agents in the region) - she stands out for her personal integrity and empathetic nature but the wits and skill to find right candidates for the role.
