While I cringe a bit when I can see a very obvious CV or cover letter that has been written by ChatGPT (You might not think I can tell, but I usually can although as language models improve this may not be the case!), there are some good uses of AI to help you in your search for a new role. For example, you can use prompts such as those below to help you prepare for an interview:
What are the key things I would need to know if I was interviewing for a finance role within the charity sector in the UK?
How are accounting and finance different in financial services compared to the NHS in the UK?
Tell me about FRS102
You can also copy and paste the person specification into ChatGPT and ask it to predict some potential questions you might get asked to help you formulate potential answers to these questions.
